🇮🇱 Eden Alene to represent Israel at Eurovision 2021

Kan gives her a second chance

Eden Alene was selected to represent Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 by winning their national selection HaKokhav HaBa. As the contest was cancelled, the broadcaster Kan will let Eden represent the country in 2021.

Eden Alene won the competition HaKokhav HaBa and her Eurovision entry was later selected through HaShir HaBa L’Eurovizion where she sang four songs. “Feker Libi” was selected as Israel’s entry for the 2020 contest.

However, as the contest was cancelled for 2020, Eden didn’t get to represent Israel in the contest. That’s why Kan has decided to give her a chance to represent the country in next year’s contest.

For next year’s contest she needs to find a new song, as the European Broacasting Union has decided that the 2020 songs are not eligible to be used next year.
