Eurovision in Concert has confirmed that Iceland’s Eurovision 2022 representative Systur will be performing at AFAS Live on April 9th.
The sister trio Systur won Iceland’s national selection Söngvakeppnin after getting 11 thousand votes more than the runner-up Reykjavíkurdætur on the second round of the final. Shortly after being selected as Iceland’s representative in Turin, they changed the name of the group from Sigga, Beta and Elín to more simple Systur.
Systur will perform “Með hækkandi sól” on the second half of the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022. The group hopes to bring Iceland to the final for the third year in a row. Last year Daði og Gagnamagnið finished fourth in the final with the song “10 Years”.

In 2019, a total of 28 competing artists performed in The Netherlands’ capital. This year Eurovision in Concert will take place on April 9th, with the Eurovision 2021 host Edsilia Rombley and Cornald Maas in hosting duties. The tickets are still available and can be found here.
Several Dutch artists have been confirmed as supporting acts for the Eurovision 2022 artists. Maggie MacNeal, who represented The Netherlands back in 1974 as part of the duo Mouth & MacNeal and in 1980 as a solo artist with “Amsterdam”, was the first supporting act to be announced. Linda Wagenmakers will also warm up the stage with her 2000 entry “No Goodbyes”. Fans will also be able to enjoy performances by Teach-In’s Getty Kaspers with the winning song of 1975 “Ding-a-Dong” and Marga Bult, who represented The Netherlands in 1987 with the song “Rechtop in de wind”.
