Eurovision Song Contest 2021 will take place in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. This was confirmed during the Eurovision: Europe Shine A Light.
It was also confirmed that next year there will be a winner, one way or another. Rotterdam will host the contest, as it was planned in 2020. More details about the Eurovision Song Contest 2021, including dates for the event, will be released in the coming weeks and months.
We are extremely happy that we can now move forward. It’s vitally important that the Eurovision Song Contest returns next year, and we’re pleased to have the necessary commitment from our Members in the Netherlands to bring this much-loved show back to audiences across the world.

18 artists are already confirmed to represent their countries in the next year’s contest. These artists are Montaigne from Australia, Vincent Bueno from Austria, Efendi from Azerbaijan, Hooverphonic from Belgium, Victoria from Bulgaria, Benny Cristo from Czech Republic, Tornike Kipiani from Georgia, Stefania from Greece, Samanta Tīna from Latvia, Destiny from Malta, Jeangu Macrooy from The Netherlands, Roxen from Romania, Senhit from San Marino, Ana Soklič from Slovenia, Blas Cantó from Spain, Gjon’s Tears from Switzerland and GO_A from Ukraine.
In this ever-changing and challenging environment, the EBU will work with its Dutch Members and the City of Rotterdam to ensure the continuity of the event in a number of different scenarios.
Now more than ever it is important that we, as a public broadcaster, are committed to continuing this European tradition and are organizing a great event that people can look forward to during these difficult times. We will do everything in our power to arrange a very special Contest
