Serbia’s representative in Vienna, Bojana Stamenov, has invited the world to be part of her promotional video. You may find yourself starring alongside Bojana and a host of other famous singers, including Marija Serifovic!
If you would like to get involved you have until this Friday, 13 March, at 12:00cet. The promotional video project, organised by Serbia’s delegation in conjunction with OGAE Serbia, will see snippets of fan submissions intertwined with celebrity clips and overlain with Bojana’s vocals.
You can film yourself performing along to ‘Beauty never lies’ solo or with others, in HD or mp4 format. OGAE Serbia’s advice is that “it is preferable that you wear an interesting outfit. The emphasis is on the video, so it does not matter whether you are good singers or not.”
Submissions should be sent before the 13 March 12:00cet deadline to [email protected]. The email should specify your name(s), city and country in which you live.
Having won the national final with ‘Ceo svet je moj’, composer Vladimir Graic has teamed up with Charlie Mason to create an English language version, which goes by the title of ‘Beauty never lies‘. Charlie’s name is familiar to Eurovision fans as the lyricist for ‘Rise like a phoenix’. It has not yet been determined which version of the song will be performed on the Vienna stage, but with a promo video in English and a well-received lyrics from Charlie Mason, it would be rather a surprise if the live performance was entirely in Serbian.
