We don’t blame you if you have other things to do when we have a heatwave in Europe, than to follow all the news. No worries, we’re here to bring you up-to-date with everything that happened the past week.


Details of the bids from Jerusalem and Tel Aviv got confirmed for Eurovision 2019

The Jerusalem Post wrote, that Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and Eilat are the cities who submitted an official bid to the Israeli host broadcaster KAN for the upcoming contest. Moreover, they also published some details about how Jerusalem and Tel Aviv would host the contest.

Tel Aviv 2019 is the “most likely” outcome

Most recently, an Israeli Minister, who is on a visit to Malta said, that Jerusalem does not have required resources so that Tel Aviv will most likely host Eurovision 2019. As you can read in our article below, Israel also still has to pay the guarantee fee of 12 million to the EBU till the end of the month. In conclusion, nothing official yet. Eurovision winner Netta makes first appearances in the USA

Since winning Eurovision two months ago, Netta was very busy traveling mostly in Europe. She filmed a big commercial for Netflix and made it on the cover of Attitude Netherlands! Now Netta also made her way to the Big Apple, where she performed on the “Today” show and on “Billboard Live”! Both two huge shows who will make her and the contest more popular in the States!

19 countries (a record) to take part in Junior Eurovision 2018

This week the EBU also confirmed, that a record-breaking 19 countries will take part in the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018! Kazakhstan & Wales will make their debut this year while three (!!!) countries return to the contest! The country limit even was raised for this year’s junior contest! Get all the details below.
