Barbara Schöneberger is the German Oprah!

She is aiming for nothing less than world domination! Barbara Schöneberger will return as the host of the German national final next year. This year she wasn’t available, as she was already hosting another event. Moreover, she will also soon start her own radio channel! Yes, channel not show. 

Barbara Schöneberger is back!

Barbara already hosted the German national final from 2014 to 2017 and was replaced in 2018, because she wasn’t available. Next year we’ll see her return to the night where Germany will select their entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018.

The national final will take place in February and the over 1000 entries were already cut down to 198. These are currently getting presented to the Eurovision jury formed of 100 people selected via online search. 

After having her own magazin, Barbara now gets her own radio channel!

After having her own magazine “Barbara” already for a while, Barbara Schöneberger will now also get her own radio channel. The name for her new radio channel: “Barbaradio”! An official start for the new channel is not official yet. According to Barbara, the project is already in the making for the past three months. They already produce content for the channel, but they wanna keep it as up to date as possible. One thing is already official. The channel will broadcast 24/7.

The radio channel will work closely with the editors of the magazine. In the beginning, the radio channel will only be available digitally. They will decide about more ways at a later point. One thing is for sure. The sky is not enough for Barbara Schöneberger and we’re excited what the future holds for her.

This year Germany was represented by Michael Schulte and “You Let Me Walk Alone”. He achieved the best result for Germany since Lena won the show in 2010 and came in 4th place in the end!
