Love is truly in the Eurovision air, the beloved Icelandic singer Jóhanna Guðrún got married yesterday, on 21st of September to her long time partner Davíð Sigurgeirsson. Yohanna married in a lovely church called Garðakirkja, in Garðabær, Iceland.

Jóhanna took part at Eurovision in 2009 with the song “Is it True”, a strong ballad that gave Iceland one of their best results at Eurovision. That is second place, but Iceland has reached that place only two times. The other time 10 years earlier in Jerusalem.
Davíð is an Icelandic guitarist, and they have been together for a while and have a child together. The show was filled with artist and singers. Among them was Stefanía Svavarsdóttur, who has taken part at Söngvakeppnin, she performed the ABBA song “Thank You for the Music”. She also took duet with Elísabet Ormslev, who also take part at Söngvakeppnin.

The couple was of course encourage to perform on the stage. One of the guests took their performance and posted it on Instagram. When Jóhanna sang ” Power of Love” with Davíð playing on the guitar.
