After today’s first rehearsals, the Swedish broadcaster SVT has now released the 60-second snippets of the seven songs competing in the first heat of Melodifestivalen 2022.

The first heat of Sweden’s national selection for Eurovision 2022 takes place in Stockholm’s Avicii Arena. The show will include two rounds of voting. The artist with most votes will qualify to the final after the first round, while the second finalist will be the artist with most points from the eight voting groups. Two more artist will qualify to the semi-final, which takes place a week before the big final.
Sweden will choose their Eurovision 2022 representative on the Melodifestivalen final on March 12th. The winner will be decided by a combination of the votes from the Swedish public and the international jury. The venue for the final will be the Friends Arena. Sweden will compete in the second semifinal of the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin, Italy.
