Serhat seems to be on a roll lately, with a revamped version of his Eurovision 2016 entry ‘I Didn’t Know’ charting at number 36 in America’s Billboard Dance Club Songs charts earlier this month. ‘Total Disguise’ is a re-release of the singer’s single from 2004. Interestingly the original version also contains roots to the Eurovision Song Contest, featuring Viktor Lazlo, the host of the 1987 contest in Brussels!

Year of the collaboration?

While we have had a few Eurovision collaborations in recent months, ‘Total Disguise’ appears to mark the first joint effort this year of Eurovision acts who have participated in different years. Earlier in March, Jowst teamed up with Kristian Kostov with the song ‘Burning Bridges’. Similarly in May two more acts from Kyiv, Norma John and Kasia Mos, combined forces and released ‘Wild Eyes’.
What do you think of this collaboration and which of the two versions do you prefer? Are there any other Eurovision acts you would like to see collaborate? Let us know your thoughts below and on social media @ESCXTRA!
