EurovisionTurin 2022

More live-on-tapes from semi final 2 released

Amongst all of the exciting Eurovision news we’ve had in the past week regarding host cities and bids, the EBU has continued to release the live-on-tape recordings from the 2022 contest. The semi-final 2 videos are being released this week. However, many are still yet to come!

Since last week, Eurovision fans have been treated to the live-on-tape performances from countries whose broadcasters have agreed to share the recordings with the general public. Each of these videos gives an insight into the preparation process each of the artists went through prior to coming to Turin. It demonstrates the efforts each and every one of them put into their pre-recorded performance in the event that COVID would disrupt their performance. For countries with National Finals, the live-on-tapes arguably seem quite familiar. However, for countries with internal selections, it is always interesting to see the initial vision of the performance, and how many changes were implemented in between March (when the majority were filmed) and May.

These videos were uploaded according to the official running order of the semi-finals. All songs from the first semi-final, excluding the Netherlands and various others, have been released. This week marked the reveal of the songs from the second semi final.

The most recently uploaded performances are from Estonia, Romania and Poland. We’ve uploaded these videos for your ease below. You can also take a look at the earlier performances from the second semi-final from Israel, Serbia, Malta, San Marino, Ireland and North Macedonia here.
