New Music Friday – this week with ABBA, Westlife, VICTORIA & more!

Ten of the best new songs from Eurovision artists!

Jeangu Macrooy feat. Pete Philly – ‘A Little Greener’

After representing the host country in Rotterdam with ‘Birth of A New Age‘, Jeangu Macrooy took time away to reflect and grow. Now reborn and full of spirit once more, he returns with his first single since the contest, with Dutch rapper Pete Philly. Together they deliver the intimate ‘A Little Greener’. A soulful number that blends elements of jazz and funk. Expect a new album from Jeangu in 2022, which is currently in production.

Timmy Trumpet x Cascada x Harris & Ford – ‘Never Let Me Go’

Hold onto your pacemakers, Cascada returns and the beats are harder than ever! As one of Germany’s biggest music exports, Eurovision 2013 alumni Cascada have been filling dancefloors since 2004. Now lead singer Natalie Horler teams up with German DJs, Harris & Ford and Australian hardcore DJ, Timmy Trumpet. ‘Never Let Me Go’ is a tribute to the classic house and happy hardcore sound that made Cascada famous, combined with modern EDM and techno elements. Those looking for a new workout anthem will enjoy this a lot!

Robin Bengtsson – ‘If I Was You’

Always a regular on New Music Friday is Sweden’s Eurovision 2017 star Robin Bengtsson. Still showing he can go on, today he releases new single ‘If I Was You’. This guitar driven track might seem laid back, but it’s the story behind the melody that packs a punch. As Robin croons with no remorse over a broken relationship. One relationship still going strong though, is his with Melodifestivalen. Next year he will take part in the competition for the fourth time!
