Big Five draw Grand Final running order slots

Who drew the new Producer's Choice option?

Yesterday, the Big Five and Sweden completed their second rehearsals for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 taking place in Malmö, Sweden next week. Immediately after the rehearsals, the Big Five drew their positions for the Grand Final on Saturday May 11.

Big Five running order draw

Earlier this year, during the Head of Delegations meeting, it was confirmed that Sweden’s Marcus & Martinus will open the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with ‘Unforgettable’ for the host nation. Now we know where the remaining automatic qualifiers will perform following the draw announcement. In previous years, the competing Eurovision artists would put their hands in the lucky dip bowl to draw either First Half or Second Half slots. For this year, SVT announced a third option – the Producer’s Choice. This would allow the producers of the show to place an act wherever they want in the Grand Final running order. The draws for the automatic qualifiers of the Big Five and Sweden are as follows:

  • 🇬🇧 United Kingdom: Olly Alexander – ‘Dizzy’ (First Half)
  • 🇩🇪 Germany: ISAAK – ‘Always on the Run’ (First Half)
  • 🇸🇪 Sweden: Marcus & Martinus – ‘Unforgettable’ (#1)
  • 🇫🇷 France: Slimane – ‘Mon Amour’ (Second Half)
  • 🇪🇸 Spain: Nebulossa – ‘ZORRA’ (Producer’s Choice)
  • 🇮🇹 Italy: Angelina Mango – ‘La Noia’ (Producer’s Choice)

After each of the live Semi-Final shows, the qualifiers will choice their fate to complete the running order for the Grand Final of Eurovision 2024. For the first time, the Big 5 and host nation, Sweden will also be performing live during the Semi-Finals.
